We’ll be together forever!

Friends said it was the most romantic wedding they had ever seen.

On Saturday, David and Alicia Ward enjoyed the white wedding of which they had always dreamed.
The couple met two-and-a-half years ago over the Internet, before David, from Oadby, persuaded Alicia to meet up.
Despite Alicia having cerebral palsy, and David’s arthritis, the pair have spent every weekend together since – even though Alicia lived in Morecombe in Lancaster.

There have been hard times. But we have got here in the end. The day was really lovely, everything was perfect, just as I imagined

Now the couple, who were featured in the Leicester Mercury last year, have a home together in Oadby.
